New video! J.J. Abrams talks about the upcoming Alcatraz, which premieres (for two hours) on Fox Monday, January 16, which is just ten days away! (video via TVLine)
“The cool thing is that the show, in flashbacks, shows you what happened in Alcatraz 50 years ago. So the fun is, you have a present day story that is sort of a crime drama and the backstory, the past story, is informing what’s happening now as well so the audience gets privileged scenes that the characters of the show in present day are still trying to figure out.” Sound familiar, LOST fans?
